happy 4TH OF JULY

Happy 4th of July!....
Let' s get this started ,NOW!
So it will be out there on the fourth!
I thought how many men like him
had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign soil;
how many mothers' tears?

How many pilots' planes shot down?
How many died at sea?
How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?
NO, FREEDOM ISN'T FREE !

I heard the sound of Taps one night,
when everything was still.
I listened to the bugler play
And felt a sudden chill.

I wondered just how many times
That Taps had meant 'Amen.'

When a flag had draped a coffin
of a brother or a friend.

I thought of all the children,
of the mothers and the wives,
of fathers, sons and husbands
With interrupted lives.

I thought about a graveyard
At the bottom of the sea.

Of unmarked graves in  Arlington .

NO FREEDOM ISN'T FREE

Enjoy Your Freedom

and
God Bless Our Troops.

When you receive this,

please stop for a moment
and say a prayer for our servicemen.

Of all the gifts you could give a U.S. Soldier, prayer is the very best one.

Pray for those left behind

VVA Chapter 17 &1076

Dear Friend and Supporter,
After four years of dreaming, talking and creating, we are very proud to announce that BRAVO! COMMON MEN, UNCOMMON  VALOR is now available for purchase on DVD with additional footage and interviews!
This film is the story of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment during the Siege of Khe Sanh as told by 15 men who were there and survived the chaos, death and mayhem. But this film is more than the story of those 15 men; in many ways BRAVO! speaks for all the men and women who fought in Vietnam, or Korea, or Afghanistan and Iraq, or World War II. It is the story of combat and its aftermath. It is a testimony to the human spirit.
Send DVDs of this film to your veteran for Father’s Day, to the history department at your local schools, universities and libraries, to your local veterans organizations, to your loved-ones in the military.  If you are a veteran, this is a powerful way to teach your family what it means to be in combat.
For a limited time only, the DVD of BRAVO! is available for $19.95 per DVD. No freight, shipping or handling fees will be charged. THIS OFFER IS ONLY GOOD THROUGH JULY 6, 2013.
You can purchase DVDs of BRAVO! COMMON MEN, UNCOMMON VALOR at our website:http://bravotheproject.com/buy-the-dvd/
Thank you for your support and for celebrating this big step with us. Please pass this message along to anyone else who would be interested in this profound account of the Vietnam War experience.  As always, you can follow BRAVO!’s progress on the BRAVO! website at http://www.bravotheproject.com or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Bravotheproject.
