Volunteers Needed Immediately as Teen Pregnancy-Teen Mom House Chaperones!

Living Grace Homes (LGH) in Henderson are non-profit houses for Pregnant Teens and/or Teen Moms (www.livinggracehome.com); they are in need of "House Mom Volunteers" to simply be an adult chaperone to the up to four (4) Pregnant Teens and/or Teen Moms and their infants/toddlers *normally under the age of two (2) years old. The teens are responsible for cooking, cleaning and taking care of themselves and/or their infants.  House Moms Volunteers may assist with an infant feeding while a Teen Mom is at an appointment, employment and/or while taking a shower - just as an extra pair of "eyes & ears" etc...

House Mom Volunteers are generally needed Monday-Saturday from 8am to 5pm - during days and hours that other House Mom Volunteers are not already scheduled to volunteer.

All House Mom Volunteers will be required to provide the following:

1. Background checks through the Submission of Fingerprints from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at 400 South Martin Luther King Blvd - Bldg "C" 1st Floor - LV 89106

2. Clean Driving Record - No Moving Violations in the Past 5 years from www.dmvnv.gov

3. Current Immunizations to include TB Testing

There will be a LGH Volunteer Orientation on Saturday-June 14th from 2pm to 5pm at the 1806 Somersby Way house in Henderson 89014. Please RSVP with the LGH Executive Director - Kathleen Miller (702-212-6472 or 702-612-8628 or kmlivinggracehome@gmail.com );  at which time she will have a schedule clearly listing the days and times she needs Volunteers the most. *If you can not attend...1-on-1 Volunteer Orientation can be arranged.

Note: DONATIONS ALWAYS ACCEPTED…Cribs, Swings, Car Seats, High Chairs, New and Gently Used Infant to 24-month Clothing, Diapers, Powdered Formula, Bottles, Wipes and any other BABY Necessities…and most of all Cash/Check and/or Gift Card Donations, etc…

Thanks in Advance for Your Consideration to Volunteer!
