One year ago, on October 1, 2013, the federal government shut down. For 16 days, tens of millions of Americans were left in limbo, not least our veterans. While a shutdown has been averted this year, veterans must be protected from this toxic cycle of political gridlock.
Join us in pressuring federal legislators to pass the bipartisan Putting Veterans Funding First Act, providing advance appropriations for all VA functions, including all discretionary programs and mandatory benefits.
