Honor the courage and commitment of America's unsung heroes! Fight for the care and recognition these heroes deserve as you salute women veterans through DAV now!
Dear Robert,
Despite courageous service since the creation of the Army Nurse Corps in 1901, many women still feel like "invisible veterans."
With Mother's Day just around the corner, it's the perfect time to take a stand for these unstoppable heroes, honoring the service and sacrifice of the women who served through DAV!
These veterans have endured a long and difficult battle for recognition and care — yet that has never dampened their patriotism, or their fighting spirit, Robert.
In fact, more women than ever are answering the call. By 2040 it's estimated that nearly 1 in 5 veterans will be women!
It's high time our women veterans receive the same recognition and care that all veterans deserve. So now is the perfect time to rally around these heroes through DAV!
No one has been a stauncher ally — or a louder voice — for our women veterans than DAV. No one is more trusted by these brave women than DAV, an organization whose ranks are filled, at every level, with women veterans who stand up for their own!
At DAV, we're proud of a long and distinguished history of service to ill and injured veterans.
I hope you'll want to learn more. But before you do, think of the many women veterans right there in your state.
Then do your part to salute the exemplary achievements of these unsung heroes with your gift of $25 … $50 … $100 or more in honor of women veterans!
Honoring the Fortitude of Women Veterans!
